NTCA Prize Presentation

The Newcastle Track Cycling Association held their annual Prize Presentation and Roller evening last Friday at Whitfield Tennis Pavilion, Newcastle. The room was packed with standing room only as they enjoyed the roller racing put on by the under 16’s and then the awarding of the prizes.

The awards were handed out by track stalwart John Robinson who praised how the Association had developed in to one of the best leagues in the country over the past 10 years

Flowers were handed out to Nesta Stubbs and Sue Notley in recognition of all the hard work they had put in throughout this season.

Special thanks should also go to Sue Jones and her team at Lyme RC who provided the room and food free of charge which all contributed to an evening that was enjoyed by all.

This season has been very successful and the organiser Chris Pyatt would like to thank all the officials and riders who have supported the league this year. We hope to see you all next year when the league starts again in May 2008.
