 This year’s one day event has been changed to a Saturday and I do hope you can ride this year. As usual we will have plenty of sprint racing for A & B Sprinters, A & B Endurance riders as well as Youth racing. Closing date for entries is 6th June The National Sprinters League Sponsored by Brian Rourke Cycles Riders Qualifying 200 m time trial starts at 10am. Riders only need to do this time trial if they want to qualify for the Main Sprinters League (Only 12 riders will qualify for the sprinters league) Riders need to have done a 12.0 sec ride in competition in the last 2-seasons to be eligible to ride this qualifying TT. (Sorry, but this is to reduce the amount of time on the program, in previous years we have had well over an hour of qualifying time trails.) Rider’s times not making the cut for the sprinters League will automatically be entered into the B- Sprint. The current track was resurfaced in 2004 following a successful Lottery Application of £250,000. We now have as a result of these improvements the best outdoor track in the Country. The track is 400m in distance with a banking of 31 degrees in the bends.
